Charitable Foundation

The Villa Acadienne Charitable Foundation was established on

November 18, 1982, and is governed by our Board of Directors. It serves to raise funds through donations for resident amenities not provided for by our operating budget.

The funds raised enhance the lives of our residents. We purchase special equipment, furnishings and provide special activities forour residents.

For more information about how you can make a tax-deductible donation or how to list Villa Acadienne as a bequest in your will, please call (902) 645-2065 or email us at ceo@villaacadienne.ca.

Our department focuses on engaging our residents in meaningful recreational activities that enhance their independence and quality of life. We offer a wide array of programs which appeal to each individual resident's interests.

Through our recreation programming, we ensure our residents' physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs are being met. Recreation is more than just simply fun and games (although we do offer that as well); we help residents feel comfortable with who they are by attending to their emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. Our other services include a hair salon, phones, cable, mail and banking.
